The following churches are providing free meals to kids during the week of Spring Break:

The First Baptist Church in Cherokee will be providing meals at 11:30 on Tuesday, March 24 and Thursday, Thursday, March 26 at the following locations:  First Baptist Church in Cherokee, Chicopee Community Center, Southeast Elementary School in Weir, and City Hall/Fire Department in West Mineral.  Meals will also be provided by the church in Scammon at the Holiness Mission Church (the old school).  Please call the First Baptist Church office at 620-457-8397 on Monday or Wednesday to reserve a meal for your child at one of the locations above.

The Osage Church of the Brethren and the Trinity Holiness Church in Monmouth are sponsoring a hot breakfast, a sack lunch, and a surprise for kids ages 1-18 on March 23-27 at the McCune Farm to Market  located at 604 Hickory Street.
