As the state of Kansas loosens restrictions we have worked with our Student Council team to organize and create a meaningful promotion ceremony for our 8^th graders.  The following are tentative plans that were created based on student feedback.

A drive through event will be held at the middle school parking lot.  This event will allow families to drive their graduate to the building to be recognized and to receive their promotion certificate.  A photographer will be on site to take a photo of the eighth grader with their certificate.  We also plan to have pizza and dessert for the graduate to pick up and take to-go.  The tentative date for this event will be Friday, June 5th from 6:00pm-7:00pm.

Please know that the date and details of this event are subject to change if state or local regulations are tightened.  Our priority is to honor the accomplishments of our students as long as we are able to follow social distancing guidelines.  Parents of 8^th graders will receive more detailed information concerning this event in the mail.
