USD 247 School Board Approves Updates to the Returning to School Plan
At a special meeting on Monday, August 17, the USD 247 Board of Education approved recommended updates to the Returning to School Plan. These updates have also been approved by the Crawford County Health Department and include the following:
- Face-masks for students in PreK through grade 2 may be removed in the classroom if social distancing of at least 3 to 6 feet can be maintained. (Parents may request that their student continue to wear a face mask while in the classroom.) Face masks remain mandatory while on buses, hallways, and in common spaces for all students. (Mask breaks for all students will be scheduled throughout the school day.)
- Social distancing for students should be 3 to 6 feet and adults will remain at 6 feet to the extent possible.
