XC Glow Run/Jog-a-Thon a Success

On Thursday, September 17, the cross country team participated in the second annual Glow Run/Jog-a-Thon to raise funds for spikes and watches. The objective was to run around a quarter-mile cross country course as many times as they could in an hour. The twist?… It’s dark outside and the course is only lit up with glow sticks. Each runner received different pledge amounts from sponsors per mile or quarter mile they ran. Most runners ran well over what they run in a normal practice period or race and had fun doing it!

A HUGE THANK YOU to all who helped sponsor,  donated, or came out to support!
