Pritchett Trust Grant!

Southeast High School received a Pritchett Trust Grant this fall. The grant, totaling $16,610, will provide a DEPCO laser cutter/engraver for Brad Coots’ technology classroom.

The laser will be used with existing computers to cut and engrave graphic design and photography projects created in the pathway coursework.  This will give students the opportunity to turn their digital work into physical objects that are being created in industry within the field of work they’re studying.  Having this equipment will also allow collaboration between the AV Communications pathway students and the Construction & Design pathway to create and engrave items for the school district, such as plaques and medals. We are grateful for the generosity of the Pritchett Trust foundation for the funds!
