Coach Lawson said, “It was a great way to end a wonderful, but sometimes crazy year! Kansas Milesplit said the 2A race would be unpredictable and they couldn’t have been more correct! The race was fast and furious and our boys fought hard and ran well! I’m really proud of what these boys were able to accomplish this year. We talked early about going to state as a team and even though there were many setbacks: quarantine, sicknesses, and just the new life in a world of Covid, these boys stuck together and made it happen! I have to give credit to my seniors. Darin and Matthew have been a vital part to our success as a program. They lead the team the entire way, often holding others accountable in the off-seasons and during the season. I am truly grateful for the 4 years these boys have committed to the program and to their teammates!”
