Staff and students at USD 247 will start their Thanksgiving break two days earlier than planned. According to superintendent, Dr. Brad Miner, a decision has been made to close school next Monday and Tuesday (November 23 and 24). “With the recent uptick in COVID cases at school and in the community we feel it is wise for us to perform a deep cleaning and disinfecting of all of our facilities.” It was already planned for school to be out Wednesday through Friday for the Thanksgiving Holiday. School will resume as normal on Monday, November 30.
