Southeast’s Tricia Wyckoff Selected As 2021 Kansas Horizon Award Recipient
WEIR – Congratulations to our very own Tricia Wyckoff as a recipient of the 2021 Kansas Horizon Award! Mrs. Wyckoff was one of 32 first-year elementary and secondary teachers selected for this award in Kansas.
“Mrs. Wyckoff does an outstanding job working with and teaching her Pre-K students. Early childhood education is very important as it starts to build a strong foundation academically and socially. Mrs. Wyckoff is deserving of this Kansas Horizon Award. I am proud of her and I am glad that the state recognizes outstanding first-year teachers,” stated Tammie Hall, Southeast Elementary School Principal.
Superintendent of USD 247 Southeast Schools, Dr. Brad Miner said, “Mrs. Wyckoff is a very talented first-year teacher with a bright future. She loves her students and her job and that is reflected in everything she does. She is very deserving of this award and we are very excited for her. We are proud to call her a Lancer!”
