There were no positive student cases at any of the schools for this reporting period. There were no staff positive cases for this reporting period at Southeast Elementary or Southeast Middle School. Currently there is one student in quarantine at SES, SMS, and SHS. There is one staff member at SHS currently in quarantine.
Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 will isolate and not be present at school for a minimum of 10 days or until they have been released by their healthcare provider and the health department. In addition, students/staff who are identified as high risk close contacts are required to quarantine per county health department guidelines.
As per our established protocol, we thoroughly cleaned and disinfected spaces in our buildings where positive cases were present. Mitigation efforts will be adjusted as recommendations from the Health Department are received. We continue to closely monitoring positive cases and will provide you with updates on a weekly basis.
