COVID-19 Vaccine Available for Those 16 and Older

The Crawford County Health Department will be providing COVID-19 vaccinations at the Health Department (410 E. Atkinson Ave.) in Pittsburg on Wednesday and Thursday (April 21 and 22) from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM for those 16 and 17 years old.  They will also accept those 18 years old if they need a vaccine, as well.  This is the Pfizer vaccine.  Those who are 16 and 17 years old will need to be accompanied by a parent so that signatures for consent may be obtained

Due to the low response from the COVID-19 parent survey, there are no plans at this time to offer the vaccine at the school.
