LANCERS PLACE AT RODEO
Quintonn Lunsford, Eli Pritchett, and Wyatt Scales are all members of the Missouri High School Rodeo Association. This past weekend they all competed in various events at the Lucky J Arena in Carthage, Missouri.
The boys participate in rodeos across the state of Missouri, and work to earn points to qualify for the National High School Finals Rodeo each year. Their last fall high school rodeo is this weekend in Eminence, Missouri.
Wyatt competes in Calf Roping and Steer Wrestling (an event he placed 2nd in on Sunday!) Wyatt comes from a rodeo family, with both his parents and his sister competing at the collegiate level. In fact, Wyatt’s sister, Amber, is on the rodeo team at Sam Houston College.
Quintonn competes in Bull Riding and Bareback Riding (an event he won on Sunday!) He plans to continue his rodeo career in college and professionally.
Eli competes in Bareback Riding and Trap Shooting (an event he earned 2nd place on Sunday!) And he plans on competing on a rodeo team in college in the future.
