The Southeast Forensics Team competed at the Three Rivers League Tournament on Saturday, February 19. Southeast took 13 entries, with 9 of those entries making it into finals. Senior Katy Coble won 1st place in Informative Speaking, qualifying her for state. Sophomore Sofia Zhestokova placed 2nd in both Informative Speaking and Impromptu Speaking, qualifying her for the state tournament in both events. Other results are as follows: Kam Frevele, 3rd place Informative and 3rd place Serious Solo; Hailee Green, 6th place Duet and 5th place Informative; Jacob Shuster, 3rd place Humorous Solo; Brookelyn Butler 6th place Serious Solo; Makenzey Green, 6th place Duet Acting.

This was our first in-person tournament competition in two years. It sure felt good being back, and I was pleased with how the tournament went for everyone. Hopefully we can use this to build on for the rest of the season.
