CHEROKEE – Gus Gorilla from Pittsburg State University visited our high school basketball game on Tuesday evening! He greeted kids of all ages, and brought PSU t-shirts that our cheerleaders threw out to the crowd. Even more exciting is that the university gave two $1,000 scholarships to two of our seniors planning to attend Pittsburg State University! Seniors Cassie Swezey and Brandon Favuzzi both received $1,000 scholarships!
