CHEROKEE – This year our fifth grade classes participated in the “5th Graders Kick Butts” poster contest.  This is a county-wide anti-tobacco/vaping initiative. On April 29th, community members from the surrounding area voted on their favorite poster from each school.  Addy Ulepich (5th – Pittsburg) was chosen as the winner of Southeast Middle School. Addy received a twenty dollar gift card, a canvas bag filled with an art kit, art canvases, and other art supplies.  Way to go Addy!!!! – Ms. Karla Williams, 5th Grade ELA and Social Studies Teacher
