CHEROKEE – Quintonn Lunsford (Sr – McCune), Eli Pritchett (Jr – Weir), and Wyatt Scales (Jr – Pittsburg) all qualified to compete in the Missouri State Rodeo Finals, June 8 – 11, in Carthage, Missouri.

Eli will compete in Bareback Riding, Wyatt is competing in Steer Wrestling and Calf Roping, and Quintonn competes in Bareback and Bull Riding. Quintonn is currently in first place in bareback and bulls by approximately 100 points per event!

Also, Eli and Quintonn have qualified to compete in Gillette, Wyoming the third week of July in the National High School Finals rodeo. – Debbie Clawson, SHS Vice Principal & District Curriculum Director
