Kansas Supreme Court to Visit Southeast Kansas
The Kansas Supreme Court will conduct a special evening session, Monday, October 3 at 6:30 pm at the Parsons High School, 3030 Morton Ave. This will be part of an outreach to familiarize Kansans with the high court, its work, and the overall role of the Kansas judiciary. The special session is open to anyone who wants to hear oral arguments in person. Court will be in session from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. After the session concludes, the justices will greet the public in an informal reception.

In addition, the morning of October 3rd, Justice Evelyn Z. Wilson will visit Southeast High School at 10:00 am. The purpose of the school visit is to meet with students, faculty, and staff and to discuss how the court system interacts with the other branches of government, and how the courts impact the lives of people. Faculty, staff, and grades 3rd – 12th will be in attendance.
