NHS Induction Ceremony

On Monday, November 7, 2022, Southeast High School inducted six students to the Southeast High School National Honor Society (NHS) Chapter.

The National Honor Society is the most prestigious award a student can earn while in high school.  Students are selected based on the following criteria: have at least a 3.5 GPA, community service hours, involvement in extracurricular activities, and hold leadership roles in and out of school.  Students complete an application and are given points based on the amount of activities and services they have done during their high school career.

The following students met the criteria and were selected to Southeast High School’s National Honor Society Chapter:  Seniors, Daci Elbrader and Drake Low; Junior, Faith Archey; Sophomores, Addison Hildebrandt, Gavin Locke, Jade Peak, and Eliz White.

We also honored our current members:  Seniors, Audrey Jacobs (Chapter President), Zoey Tavernaro (Chapter Vice-President), Malia Vinson (Chapter Secretary), Easton Renn, John Turpen, and Lily Webster; Juniors, Kinzey Cassidy, Kassidy Fox, and Tanner Wiles (Chapter Treasurer).

Following the ceremony, a reception was held to show our gratitude, appreciation, and honor for all the hard work and dedication these students give to Southeast High School and our communities.
