CHEROKEE – As of Monday, January 9, 2023, all students enrolled with USD 247 will receive breakfast for FREE!

In the past, this has applied to only the elementary students (Grades Pre-K through 4th). Now, all USD 247 students can receive a FREE breakfast for the remainder of the school year. This also applies to second-chance breakfast, which is offered at the middle school and high school.

This benefit does not apply to lunch. If parents feel they may qualify for free or reduced lunch, they may do any of the following:

• Fill out the application at this link: https://usd247.com/application-for-free-or-reduced-price-school-meals/
• Fill out a paper application at the closest USD 247 school.
• Call the Board Office at 620-457-8350 and ask for Connie Kimzey.
• Email Connie Kimzey at ckimzey@usd247.com.
