“Tonight we had a “lancer sweep.” It was fun today, I think we kept the energy up. We had a lot of good hits. Also, our serves were good. I’m happy with the way we played today, but I still think we can do better. We’re going to practice hard this week so we can get some wins in our tournament this weekend.” Captain Sr. Maizey Williams
“Tonight we came away with 2 wins. I was proud of the girls making adjustments throughout the night. They met each goal that was set before them. We needed to get more kills after the first set, our goal was 9, we got 12. Then with Chetopa we needed to work on limiting our errors. We were able to keep our errors below 8 on both sets, which was a huge improvement from the match before. With regionals less than 2 weeks away we are continuing to work on being good teammates and getting better!” Head coach Maya White
Our JV and C team did not get to play tonight but they came to support and did a wonderful job. They helped bring the energy. Our JV team will be playing at the Pittsburg tournament next Saturday.
Our varsity record is now 8-15. Our next matches are Saturday at the Neodesha Tourney where we will have 6 matches.
