SHS Science Classes Host 2nd Annual Science Fair
On Tuesday, March 10th, Mrs. White’s Physical Science classes and Ms. Harrington’s English class hosted a Science Fair for the school during parent-teacher conferences.
Students spent over two weeks conducting science investigations in Mrs. White’s class while simultaneously completing background research in Ms. Harrington’s class. Their hard work and dedication were on full display as they presented their projects to parents, teachers, and fellow students.
This year’s fair included cash prizes for the top three overall projects, with 1st place receiving $20, 2nd place $15, and 3rd place $10. In addition, the top three projects from each voting group—students, parents, and staff—were recognized with awards.
