October is National Principals Month
Each October, Governor Kelly signs a proclamation recognizing Kansas Principals for all they do for education and communities in our state!
This month, we celebrate our Principals—your dedication, your passion, your perseverance, and the countless ways you show up for your students, staff, and communities.
Principals in Kansas are represented by the Kansas Principal’s Association and its incredible board of committed leaders. The KPA board met this past week to vision and plan how to support our Kansas Principals in growing their networks and leadership capacity so that we can continue to make a difference in the lives of students across our state.
To all of our principals–Mrs. Tammie Hall (SES Principal), Mr. Nick Hansen (SMS Principal), Mr. Larry Malle (SHS Principal), and Mr. Jeff Renn (SHS Assistant Principal): thank you for leading with purpose and making a lasting difference in Kansas education. We are grateful for all you do!
