Southeast USD 247, Cherokee, KS has an opening for a Certified High School English Language Arts Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.  Candidates with additional endorsements or certifications are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have a current KS Teaching License with grade 9-12 endorsement or able to obtain one.

Base Salary:  $40,500 (salary may increase depending on years of experience)

Student contact days:  160.5
Teacher contract days:  174

Benefit package includes: 
Paid life insurance – $35,000

Discretionary days – 12 per year
Professional Development Day – 1 per year
