We started off the night with a slow start making a lot of unforced errors against Uniontown.  We lacked ball control and had too many hitting errors.  The girls refocused to play St. Paul and did a lot better.  We cut our errors in half and had better results.  We were able to play with more control as we had multiple players with 5 or more kills.  The girls stepped up their level of play and teamwork.

Against Yates Center, they battled hard.  The game did not start until after 9 pm and mentally we had to stay disciplined to limit our errors and be able to fall through on executing.  We played smart and really had to focus during the last set being down 17-15 to come away with the win.

Our record is now 5-7.  Our next match is at home on Tuesday, Sept. 24th, a league night with Jayhawk Linn and Altoona Midway.  We will also have another home, varsity only, dual against Columbus on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6 pm that was just recently added to our schedule.

Our JV team went 1-2 last night losing to Uniontown and St. Paul, and winning against Yates Center.  Their record is now 5-6.  Their next match is a quad at Colgan on Saturday, Sept. 21st, starting at 9 am.
