“For the first match (against Parsons) we didn’t come out like we should have.  We did the second and third (matches) and came through with wins.  The next two matches I think we weren’t as focused on the little things.  We made a lot of silly errors that ended up hurting us in the end.” – Jr. Mattie Haynes

“I think this tournament overall was good.  We had our ups and downs; however, we executed on new things.  I saw a few new faces stepping up and leading.  I can’t say it ended how we wanted, but it was one of our best tournaments this season and I am proud.” – Sr. Jordan Jameson

“Today was a good tournament over all.  We wore ourselves out taking 3 of our matches to 3 sets.  By the end of the day, we started losing focus, but over all saw some great things.  Our hitters and setters were making some good connections.  We had some great digs and good ball control for most of the day.  Katie Bitner lead with 41 kills and Railey Robertson followed with 34 total kills for the tournament.  Our passing and our setting is continuing to improve, giving our hitters more of an opportunity to put the ball down.  I like the fighting spirit I am seeing more and more in our girls.  Now we just have to put it all together sooner.” – Head Coach Maya White

Our record is now 20-15, and our next match is away at Colgan in a triangular with Colgan and Riverton.
