“Our girls played very well tonight as a team. Our communication was probably the best it has been, and we limited our errors. We have had to make a lot of adjustments (due to various reasons) this season and the girls did a great job stepping up and filling those roles. The last game was point for point. Even after making some errors at the end of the last set, they stayed together.  I am proud of their focus and ability to stay positive as a team throughout the match.” – Head Coach Maya White

“The girls first set was a little rough and the girls were tense. They settled in for sets 2 and 3 and played really well. Set 4 was close but we came away with the win. It was fun to watch them get excited and come together as a team. They implemented a lot of fundamentals that we have been working on in practice and did much better communicating on the court. We need to keep working hard in practice and carry that over to the games.” – Asst. Coach Lynsey McMinn

“I think we went out open minded ready to play hard and full of energy. There were times where we would lose energy and hang our heads, but we looked past it and then from there on out we stayed composed and full of energy and showed we came to play.” – Junior Kaylee Mutz

Our record is now 3-11. Our next match is Tuesday (9/29), a dual with Pleasanton at Pleasanton starting at 5:00 pm with JV playing first.

Our C-team lost both matches at LCHS on 9/24, but are continuing to improve.
