“Last night we continued to show improvement. During Parsons we served well and played pretty good defense, but had a lot of hitting errors, so it was hard for us to earn points. We are continuing to make adjustments to our line up due to various reasons and the girls are doing a good job stepping up and playing in a new role. Frontenac has a good team, a fast offense, and capitalized on almost every free ball we gave them. They have been our fastest opponent so far. For most of our team, they had not played a team like that before, so it takes a lot of talking, quick feet, and consistency to play well. We are getting there and hopefully after tonight we continue to learn and work toward being the team that we are striving to be” – Head Coach Maya White

“We played good at times. We’re starting to communicate better on the court as a team. We also had pretty good attitudes tonight. I think the more we play together and continue to practice we’ll get better at those things.” –Sophomore Audrey Jacobs

Southeast’s record is now 3-14. The next match is at home Tuesday, October 6th, in a dual against Oswego. JV will start 5:00 pm.
