Junior Malia Vinson led with 6 kills. Senior Kailynn Martin had 8 perfect serve receive passes. “In the match against St. Paul our ball control was not where it needed to be and we played a little flat. The first set it was a lot of back and forth but we had too many errors to get the momentum going our way. The 2nd set we limited our errors and played better but St. Paul also played better and had some good finishes at the net.”- Head Coach Maya White
Won vs Oswego 25-23, 18-25, 25-23

Jr. Zoey Tavernaro had 4 aces and 9 perfect serve receive passes. “In the match against Oswego, we came out with more energy but lost focus many times and ended with a lot of back and forth. The first set we were ahead 10-3 and we let Oswego come back in and tie it up. Then it became a point for point game most of the set. This back and forth continued in the 2nd and 3rd set as well. The last set we picked up our level of play and were able to finish better than we started. Malia Vinson and Kalle Bitner combined for 17 kills. We had a total of 10 aces with Zoey Tavernaro and Kinzey Cassidy each serving 4.” – Head coach Maya White
Won vs Chetopa 25-11, 25-13
So. Kinzey Cassidy had 8 kills. As a team we served 12 aces. “Our last match against Chetopa our energy was up following our 3rd set against Oswego. Our focus wavered at times but we were able to keep it together. Kinzey Cassidy had 8 kills and as a team we served 12 aces. We were working on improving our hitting percentage and our ball control. We still have a lot of work to do to get to where we want to be as a team. ” -Head Coach Maya White
‘Over all, we were happy to come away with 2 wins. But we are not satisfied with the way we are playing. We have to limit our errors so we can help keep the momentum on our side. In some areas we are continuing to improve. Our setters So. Kinzey Cassidy and Fr. Natalie Wells had 31 assists for the night and our blocking is getting better both are areas we have been focusing on this week.” – Head coach Maya White
