“In the match against Jayhawk Lynn our energy was low, and we were also very inconsistent. Although we did lose, we did have good things as well. The game was a wake up call and hopefully we will be working together as a team more and more each day. – Junior Malia Vinson

Lost vs Marmaton Valley 18-25, 9-25

As a team we had 3 aces, 10 Kills, and 16 digs “In the game against MV I think that we were still in our heads from the game before that. We talked about being better and having better energy but it just wasn’t there. There was some good things but definitely not enough to win. There was a lot more errors than points. We talked about how we are going to change and be better this season as a team. I think everyone is on the same page that we need to change and change our mentality. Hopefully this will be a learning experience for our team. And that we will be a better team for our next games. We are going to try and be more dedicated and change how we practice. We will learn, hopefully improve, focus, be more consistent and fix our silly mistakes. “- Junior Zoey Tavernaro

“Tonight was very draining. We earned a lot of points but gave up a lot more. So we were battling ourselves most of the night. Mentally it is very exhausting to do that night after night.  I think we will become the team we want to be, but it will take work. We have girls that are determined to make the change and get better. We are improving in a lot of areas, we just need to get disciplined to make the changes mentally.”  -Head coach Maya White
